Week 1 - Chorizo Risotto

Week 2 - Chicken Casserole

Extension:  Make another cassorle with another meat such as Boeuf Bourguignon.

Think what processes are the same? sealing the meat, deglazing the pan, reducing the juice...

Week 3 - Apple crumble pie

Extension: Make a different pie - try a savory one as well as sweet - look how you can change the type of pastry you use.

Week 4 - Beef Lasagne

Week 5 - Meat Curry

Extension:  Look up some Indian recipes and try making chapati bread to go with this!  Make up your own vegetarian curry and see at what point you split the recipe if you have a meat and vegetarian guest.

Week 6 - Fish Skills

Week 7 - Sticky Toffee Pudding

Extension: Make another sponge pudding - try treacle sponge pudding.  Try making individual or whole puddings.  

Try steaming and microwaving puddings and compare the results.

Week 8 - Victoria Sponge cake
